Electric Vehicle Home Charging Program

Carroll White REMC will provide rebates for members who purchase an electric vehicle and reside on our electric system.  To be eligible members must:

1.    Be served by and have a dwelling on the Carroll White REMC system where charging will take place.

2.    Must provide proof of purchase of the charging unit to be installed and used at said dwelling.

3.    If claiming the EV Supplemental Fee rebate (up to $150) the member must provide the Registration or State Government issued document where this fee was paid.

4.    Member’s dwelling will be placed on the appropriate Time of Use rate and remain on said rate for a minimum of one year.


For the Time of Use rate the following applies:

DEFINITIONS:
On-Peak Hours are 5:01 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. weekdays, excluding New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Super Off-Peak Hours are 11:01 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. weekdays, excluding New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Off-Peak Hours are all hours that are not On-Peak or Super Off-Peak Hours.
 
MONTHLY RATE (determined by member’s existing rate):

On-Peak Energy Charge:               $0.452630 per kWh
Off-Peak Energy Charge:               $0.078410 per kWh
Super Off-Peak Energy Charge:   $0.066490 per kWh
 
General Service Demand/Prepay General Service Demand/General Service Demand > 75 kva:
 
Access Charge:                               $40.00 per month/$1.33 per day
 
Demand Charge: transformer size >25 kva and <= 75 kva      $7.70 per billing KW
                               transformer size >75 kva                                $9.20 per billing KW
                               
On-Peak Energy Charge:               $0.320160 per kWh
Off-Peak Energy Charge:               $0.052660 per kWh
Super Off-Peak Energy Charge:   $0.040810 per kWh
 
 By agreeing to the terms to be eligible members receive the following:

 

1.    A rebate of up to $300 with proof of purchase for the home charging unit.  Member shall be rebated for 50% up to $600 for said unit.

2.    A rebate for a State Fee such as Indiana’s EV Supplemental Fee that is paid when registering the vehicle up to $150.  This is a one-time rebate per membership.

 

If the member purchases a second electric vehicle and home charger, the member will be eligible for the rebate up to $300 with proof of purchase for the home charging unit.  This is also rebated for 50% up to $600 for the second unit.

Carroll White REMC member agrees to the terms and conditions of this rebate program.
