Billing. I understand that even though I am installing an electrical production system, I will still have monthly bills due and payable for facilities charges and any demand fees, as credits from the production (Solar) system does not pay for these, under any circumstance. Other future billing charges may apply as well. If my system produces less than I use I will also have billings for meter usage as well. By submitting, I confirm I am the Columbia REA Member, and I understand the above application. I understand Columbia REA will respond with an email to the email listed on my account, that I will respond to, to confirm I am the applicant. After payment of the application fee, Columbia REA will review, generally in a week or less, and may provide approval or reasons for not approving. I understand that after approval and thereafter installation, the electrical production system must not be started up, AC disconnect flipped on, (connected to grid), until the Net-Meter has been tested, and installed by Columbia REA. Columbia REA is not responsible for any resulting issues, including invalid meter billings if turned on otherwise.
