Eligibility InformationThe new heat pump water heater (HPWH) must be:Listed on BPA’s qualified products list. View the list at https://www.cowlitzpud.org/efficiency/residential-efficiency-programs/. Installed in a residence within Cowlitz PUD’s service area. Applicant must have an active account with Cowlitz PUD.Replace an existing electric storage water heater. Installed according to manufacturer’s specifications. Refer to the manufacturer’s installation instructions for guidance on location and recommendations for ducting. Existing single-family, manufactured, and multifamily homes are eligible. Newly constructed homes are not eligible. Limit of one HPWH rebate, per residence, every ten years. Program requirements and available rebates are subject to change without prior notice.Application InstructionsAttach a copy of the purchase receipt showing the brand name, model number, order/purchase date, and cost. Submit application and receipt copy to Cowlitz PUD within 90 days of purchase. Rebate will be issued by check and cannot exceed the purchase price. Please allow up to eight weeks for processing.
The Applicant authorizes the rebate from Cowlitz PUD to be made payable to the contractor that installed the energy efficiency measure indicated on this form. The contractor must show a rebate credit on the customer’s invoice.
This option is for customers whose project was pre-authorized by Cowlitz PUD, with financing approved through Fibre Federal Credit Union. By checking this box, the Applicant authorizes the rebate from Cowlitz PUD to be made payable to Fibre Federal Credit Union per the terms of the Energy Efficiency Loan Program
