REQUIREMENTS

  • Residential low-income household
  • AND
  • Age 62 or older OR
  • Permanent disability OR
  • Active Military or Veteran

PROGRAM ASSISTANCE

  • 20% monthly discount on total bill - up to 200% of FPL or 80% AMI
  • 30% monthly discount on total bill - up to 150% of FPL

PROGRAM RESTRICTIONS

  • Not available for businesses, rentals, or other secondary residences
  • Does not reduce deposit amounts or fees
  • No previous fraudulent or tamper events
  • Qualifying person mush be 18 year of age or older

APPLICATION PROCESS

    • Complete Section 1 and Section 2 of the application
    • Submit application, along with all required documents, to Cowlitz PUD
    • Eligibility will be determined upon review of information submitted and in accordance with the Customer Services Policy

AUTO ENROLLMENT   

    • Customers who qualify for LIHEAP, Warm Neighbor, or other state or federal low-income programs may automatically qualify based on age, disability, or veteran status
    • Note: Approval will be within a year of when customer qualified for state/federal program
