1. Eligibility: The rebate project must be completed for a
KPUB account holder within the KPUB service area. Rebate will not exceed the
cost of the project. Rebate maximums are per account.
2. Project timeline: Applications and supporting documents must be
filed within the fiscal year listed on page 1.
3. Application submission: Applications must be submitted one of two
ways:
· Email to: energy@kpub.com or
· Mail to Energy Efficiency Dept, 2250 Memorial Blvd,
Kerrville, TX 78028.
4. Completed application: A complete application must be signed by the
account holder and includes pages 1 and 2 of this document along with any other
pages from the application needed to apply for all eligible rebates.
5. Required documentation: any missing
documentation will delay processing. Contractor’s invoice/purchase receipt must be provided and show model
number and serial number of all equipment installed.
a. Central air and heat pump rebates: this
requires an AC, Heating & Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) certificate.
b. For insulation rebates: the invoice must
include square footage of work area.
c. For windows: include copies of each windows
specifications that states area or window dimensions.
6. Photos must be submitted: Please included photos of the installation
(which can potentially serve in lieu of an onsite inspection). The rebate must
be properly verified through photos or on-site inspection for an approved
payment.
7. Payment process: Once completed paperwork is submitted, rebate
payments are usually made within 4-6 weeks. All rebates will be applied as a
credit to your electric bill unless 3rd party payment is authorized. KPUB reserves
the right to refuse payment if the account holder or contractor violates
program terms and conditions.
8. Program discretion: Rebates are available and processed on a
first-come, first-served basis. Rebate amounts and offerings are subject to
change or termination without notice at the discretion of KPUB. This program is
subject to change or cancellation without notice.

or related to the improvements covered by the rebate or the installation
thereof. KPUB does not endorse any particular manufacturer, product, supplier,
or contractor and does not expressly or implicitly warrant the performance of
any equipment or any contractor’s quality of work.
