New Service Requirements
Required Before Site Meeting
  1. Complete and submit New Service Application
  2. New construction location must be professionally staked 
  3. Property pins must be located 
  4. Driveway must be staked 
  5. Property must be accessible - TEC employee must be able to take measurements and locate stakes (area and terrain cleared) 
  6. Approved septic must be staked (if applicable) 
  7. Approved well location must be staked (if applicable)
TEC Needs A Copy Of Deed With The Following Information For Easement Research and Creation.
  1. Official names on deed (if in a trust, list all trustees/ co-trustees legal names. If a corporation, list official corp name and who is authorized to sign on behalf of the corporation.)
  2. The recorded instrument number from the grantor's deed/general warranty deed
  3. The parcel number where the easement will reside (not the parent parcel)
  4. Number of acres of the parcel (not the parent parcel)

Much of the above information will be on the grantor's deed/general warranty deed. Please be certain you turn in this information so that we can prepare the electric utility easement. No construction can be completed on the property without a signed easement.

Your county agency, most likely the auditor's office or recorder's office or recorder's office should be able to help you obtain any missing information.
