Requirements for Cold Climate Heat Pumps:
  • ≥16 SEER2
  • ≥8.5 HSPF2
  • ≥11.7 EER2
  • COP at 5°F ≥ 1.75
  • Energy Star® certified heat pump
All heat pumps efficiency rating will be verified through NEEP.ORG and/or ENERGYSTAR.GOV
