Step 1 — Those receiving electric service from Lane Electric are member-owners of the cooperative. You must be a member-owner to request a new construction or service upgrade. To establish your membership, please complete, sign, and submit a New Membership Form (PDF).
Step 2 — To initiate the installation of electric service at a location that is not currently receiving service, or to upgrade an existing service, complete and submit the form below.
Step 3 — A Lane Electric representative will contact you within 1 week to confirm that all information needed to process your request has been collected and to schedule an appointment to meet with you. Please note that a deposit is required before beginning engineering and design services.
Step 4 — Once the design of your new service is complete and Lane Electric has received payment, we will coordinate the construction and connection of the service with you or your designated representative.
