Heating & Cooling Units & Duct Sealing/Replacement

Eligibility

  • Applicant must be the member of record for an active electric account.
  • Rebates are available to residential members only.
  • Application must be submitted within 90 days of installation.

System Requirements

  • Must be installed by an NC Licensed heating and cooling contractor.
  • When replacing an existing air source heat pump, the old unit must have a seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER) rating of 14.3 SEER2.
  • Geothermal heat pump rebate is for replacement existing heat pump or new installation.
  • Submit copy of detailed receipt.
  • Submit AHRI certificate for air source heat pump & geothermal units.


Program Guidelines

  • Rebates are based on system efficiency.
  • Two rebates allowed for heating & cooling units per account.
  • One rebate allowed for duct sealing/replacement per account
  • Please allow 2-4 weeks to process rebate.
  • All rebates are subject to approval and are contingent upon fund availability.
  • Lumbee River EMC reserves the right to amend or discontinue this program without notice.
