General Information Regarding The Rebate Program

    1. The co-op offers a bill credit to members for installation of an air source heat pump (ASHP), a geothermal system or ground source heat pump (GSHP), an electric water heater, EV charger, and/or a smart thermostat.
    2. After installation is completed, please fill out this form and upload the proof of purchase.  We will contact you to make arrangements to verify installation if necessary.
    3. Southwestern Electric Cooperative, Inc., reserves the right to inspect installations at any time and cancel promotion at any time.
    4. In consideration of the promises herein made, the (member, contractor, owner) agree to indemnify and hold the Cooperative harmless for any and all liability for damages which may result from improper installation or operation of equipment.

    Terms and Conditions

    • GSHP or ASHP systems may be installed in a newly constructed home or installed to replace an existing HVAC system. The system must be the primary source of heat, and any installed backup heat must be electric. ASHP systems must be at least 16 SEER, and GSHP systems must be at least 17 SEER.
    • Electric water heaters may be installed in a newly constructed home or installed to replace an existing gas water heater. Units must be at least 50 gallons. On-demand water heaters qualify.
    • Limit one rebate per category, per member, per year.
