Electric Thermal Storage (ETS) repair contracts are available to new and existing members with 2100 series room units, 3100 series forced air furnaces, 4100 series forced air furnaces, and 5100 series hydronic units.

This contract covers the following:

• The repair contract is not a maintenance contract and should be considered for failures and parts replacement (not for routine maintenance).
• Contract will cover replacement of failed parts within the unit, with only parts available from the manufacturer (Steffes).
• The trip, diagnosis, labor to repair, and cost of the part are included in the contact coverage.
• The contract will be attached to the service location once purchased.

Exclusions

This contract will NOT cover:

• Any electrical work to include wiring and connections, or circuit breakers.
• Duct work on central furnaces or plumbing on hydronic systems or thermostats.
• Any repairs due to abuse of the unit, water damage, or failures caused by improper self installation.
• The cost to replace a unit that cannot be repaired with available replacement parts. ($250 “trade” can be applied if new unit needs to be purchased).
• Removal or disposal of unit that cannot be repaired.
• Any heating units or devices outside of Steffes ETS units.

• Additional units - $125 each
