Please read prior to completing the residential rebate form:

To qualify for a rebate, you must include electronic copies of all receipts and invoices with the completed form.
This completed form must be submitted to Cherryland within 60 days of purchase or installation.
Check with Cherryland before purchasing your equipment to ensure eligibility and availability of funds.
Each item will be reviewed and must meet specified guidelines before qualifying for rebates.
Once approved, rebates will appear as a credit on your next electric bill.
Rebates over $500 will be issued as a check within 4 weeks of submission.
Residential and commercial project rebate cap is $10,000 per membership.
Rebate is for the purchase of new equipment (not used), except where noted.
HVAC equipment requires licensed Michigan mechanical contractor installation.
Funds are limited and other restrictions may apply.

*Rebates for lawn equipment, induction electric stoves/cooktops, residential electric vehicle charging stations, and all HVAC items are limited to one (1) rebate per measure per household.
** Used EV rebate is limited to the newly acquired used EV that is replacing a gas vehicle and registered to the address served by Cherryland.

It must also clearly indicate the equipment type, make, model, serial number, heat pump ratings, price, date of purchase and installation along with installation address.

Cherryland Electric Cooperative reserves the right to inspect installation site prior to rebate approval.

(Tankless heaters do not qualify. Must be new build or switching from natural gas/propane to electric)

Instructions: Select whether you wish to recycle either one or two refrigerators/freezers and then include the manufacturer name, condition, year, size (cubic feet), and style of each item to complete this section of the residential rebate application.

Appliances must currently be in working condition at installation address listed on this form, be 10 - 27 cubic feet in size, Older/manufactured prior to 2014, and owned by member. Limit 2 rebates per membership.

When you make energy efficiency upgrades, you can tap into your capital credits account to get additional rebates. Here's how it works: you decide to make your home more efficient and reduce your carbon footprint. You're already eligible to receive rebates from us. But if you want to increase your rebate amount, you can ask us to access your capital credit account early. If you have enough funds available, we'll let you have up to two times the value of your rebate.

*By opting to receive your capital credits before they are formally retired, a portion will be forfeited to Cherryland.*
